Cool 1955 Chevy Belair Convertible For sale - Frame off Resto, 265, P/top, Jet Black, $75k

Up for immediate sale is this absolutely incredible 1955 Belair Convertible (VC vin code, true V8, true Belair, Data tag shows true convertible) done in Jet black over red/white original style interior. This beauty queen has just finished a 2 year frame off restoration. As you would expect, the frame, undercarriage and body were completely media blasted top to bottom. All bushings, body mounts, were all changed. The original 265 motor was sent to the machine shop to be rebuilt...mostly stock rebuild and obviously upgraded the seals to use ethanol gas. I have tried to take enough pictures to show the quality of the car. It was painted by a master painter from Richmond Tx, who warranties his work for life should anything go wrong. It was taken to metal, sealed, 2k primer, and wetsanded between all coats. Top of the line Dupont paint and clear were used for the coats. 3 coats of paint, 5 coats of clear. Underside is also painted red. Under the hood and trunk an epoxy based flat black was used to resist scratches, grease and use. Look at the reflection pictures to see how smooth the paint is.

Brand new convertible top installed and all new power top motor, cylinders and lines. Doors open and close with ease. A power disc brake setup was added. 1.5" drop spindles in front and lowered in the rear the same were the only modifications from stock. The motor fires up on a dime even when cold or warm. This serious Belair is ready for new ownership. Worldwide shipping available. I can send 90 more pictures to anyone if needed. Call with questions. 832-379-8817.............................................. ..........

Looks nice. Is there a real paint name called "jet black"? Just curious

Yes there is, it is obviously not a Chevrolet Color, but yes. PPG or any paint shop can mix it.
