    Use the non-power steering arm.

I thought the 605 was kind of an outdated steering box. Aren't most guys using the 500 now? I don't know much about them since I have a corvette steering rack in my car.

thats common with the 605 box, most guys today go with the 500 box elimates play and is much tighter, feels like a new car. I made the switch 2 months ago from the 605 to the 500,the 605 is too easy to turn the 500 takes a little more effort and seems to turn shorter

The CPP500 box is a brand new clone of a Delphi 670 box, with a custom housing to mount to a 55-57 frame, and a custom sector gear so you can use a stock pitman arm. It is made in China by a company that makes OEM steering boxes for Mercedes among others.

The Borgeson box is a real Delphi 670 box that has been modified with a fabricated and welded on lower housing to fit a 55-57 frame. It also has a custom sector gear so you use the stock pitman arm.

Delphi 670 boxes were used in Tahoes around 2000-2002, maybe longer. Also on Jeep Cherokee, maybe Liberty, similar time frame.

I've never heard anything truly bad about either box. They are different ways of doing the same basic design. They have both been on the market for 5-7 years, maybe longer, they aren't a new deal any more. Header clearance, etc. should be almost identical.
