Perhaps it's just me...but... I often dream to going back in a time machine, and strolling around the GM factory hand picking parts.. I really do!

I've not seen any significant exclusivity with one vendor selling "better parts" than any other. So, it boils down to buying from a vendor who knows our cars, understands the challenges, and will work with you on returns as needed. I've had good luck with Cliffs Classic Chevrolet (Portland OR) since.. well.. Cliff KNOWS these cars. I also had a good experience with H&H Chevy parts with a defective turn signal switch. They send me a new one, no questions asked, and didn't even want the old one returned.

This is where that junk is getting made. It should be no wonder, that crappy stuff comes from that place:

    FOR SURE!
We have about concluded the "massaging" of a pair for my bud's 55 truck. Latch won't fit, dimensionally way off.
As for LMC themselves.... Nothing more than a forwarder of junk.

I have a pair of Jalapeno's rear bellhousing engine mounts on my 55 and they are holding up well. I have a good time when I drive my car. I don't abuse it but I'm not easy on it. I didn't get a year out of the Napa mounts that I originally put on it.

Ordered a couple sets of bellhousing mounts from Jalapeno (Authentic Automotive) 3 years ago. Very happy with the quality. Top drawer all the way.

Yes, the packaging clearly states 'Made In Taiwan', but they are not anything like the Chi-Com junk. Haven't seen bellhousing mounts of this quality since the days when you could buy OEM replacement mounts from GM dealers......

Is it any wonder that China is planning to invade Taiwan, not only to get their toilet paper

I really like to see a car with orginal style mounts and glad to hear someone still makes good ones.
