    63 Corvair steering wheel change

I have decided to go with a steering wheel from a 63 Corvair to replace the 13" custom wheel I have had on my 57 wagon for quite some time. Is it possible to use the horn kit that is original to the wheel or do I need a different kit? I really like the looks of the wheel.

I would guess the horn kit is the same, but I can't say that for certain??

PS. The Turbocharged Corvair (Spyders?) had a special horn button/ rim on the steering wheel which had the turbocharged emblem which would be a neat thing if you are using a corvair wheel... (I had one, but gave it to a friend)...

The parts look the same for the early horn kits vs. the later horn kits but there are differences. For instance, the plastic ring with standoffs has longer standoffs on the later stuff. This change occurred in 58 I think. The horn kit must match the steering wheel and horn ring.
