Glass Setting Tape for Slider trim?

Figuring out what all I need to install my sliders... and found out I don't have enough of the 'glass sealing tape' for the rear slider trim. I used the ~1" wide butyl glass sealing tape on my door and vent window frames and it worked well.
I do have the glass edge rubber that comes with the Danchuk #844, but the fit is very loose in the stainless trim that mikey redid for me a few months ago. The Danchuk 844 instructions say to use 3M 036 weatherstrip adhesive, but the 'fit' appears too loose for the WS adhesive to retain the trim onto the glass edge.
Should I order new glass sealing tape - I'm having problems finding a source .. or ?? Each slider rear trim is ~ 15" in length, so I only need 30" or so... What do you other Nomaders that have done this task recently recommend?Glass
