HOW TO WIRE A ELECTRONIC DISTRIBUTOR 57 CHEVY to the coil

Car has no ballast resistor. Has three wires: red and black from new distributor and tan wire from old resistor. Where do they go on coil.

What kind of 'electronic distributor'? I'm uncertain exactly what you mean by 'electronic distributor'... so maybe knowing the distributor you are using will clarify that. For that matter, what engine are you running?
ie. Most of the distributors I'm familiar with are composed of mechanical, electrical and electronic components..
