    Seats

I m working on a 57 step side and now its time to get a bench seat for it. I was told a 94-98 chevy truck seat fits well. Anyone else have any experience they care to share?

You don't have the original seat?? Or are you just wanting to upgrade to later style?

I have a '56 I was planning on finding one of those seats for to have upholstered in leather. I would love to hear thoughts.

Engrguy: I'd bet that almost any Chevy truck seat up thru '72 or thereabouts would be easily adapted to a trifive truck... One way: Go to a junkyard and make some measurements.. (after measuring your truck from inner door to inner door..

25 years ago it was the in thing to get new take outs from those trucks and install them in 72s. They fit ok but were not near as comfortable as the OEM one in my Cheyanne Super. I knew several guys who did this swap.
