    If I thought the voltage limiter might be bad, I would try another used stock gauge.

    Hi Rick,
    I guess I am looking for the least invasive way of trying to resolve the issue. I would prefer not to go thru the routine of removing the cluster again (pull the wheel, pull the upper parts off the column, lower the column, pull the cluster, find an original gas gauge). If you have any thoughts if there is a way to try some fixes remotely, that would be mo' betta.
