    Unhappy the old turn signals problem

    hello everybody...
    i have a 57 chevy belair with led lights front and back (digital flashers) and all lights seem to be working correctly except turn signals..when i turn the ididit column lever left or right the correct rear light comes on in back but both front parking lights come on with no blinking...checking flasher its test is good...i think i may have a wire crossed (understatement)...but not sure...if anyone has some ideas i sure would appreciate the help.....its making me crazy (old painless wiring from about 5 or 6 years ago...no labels(they all fell off) wish i had the new style but too expensive...thanks for all your expertise in advance....jerry

    Been there. It's a bad ground connection somewhere.

    If you have a rag joint in the steering system make sure there is a jumper wire across it so you get proper ground connection to the top end of the steering column.

    but wouldnt the mount to dash do that since i have body to chassis ground

    ^^^ Maybe.
    If the rears are working, then the rag joint is not the issue.

    Had a similar problem with my son-in-law's 67 Chevelle after we installed an AAW kit. Like RD said, I'll bet it's a ground issue.
