Body filler in high heat location

    Howdy,
Asking for a friend: after welding in some patches in a firewall, do you see any issues in using body filler to fill some of the irregularities (high heat location)? I see Evercoat Rage is listed with a max temp of 260 (deg. F).
    Thanks, Doug

I used body filer to fill dents on the top tank of the radiator on my '57. I had no problems with it. I don't think it would be a problem on a firewall.

I did it on a car I built back in the 90's. Thin coat, not major build up. It was still fine when I sold the car about 10 years later.
