I have stock electric on my 56 BA 2ht and Raingear on my 55 150 2dr. The Raingear works well on a modified car.

I’ve used rain gear on a couple cars. Works well and is easy to install.

    Hi c5vettedude
Ditto vote for Rain Gear. Well-engineered, manufacturer provides good support for any issues and questions.
    Regards, Doug

Not sure what you mean by master cylinder cross mount?
I didn't have any problems with the installation, other than my early vintage of RainGear having the arm that connects the two wiper pivots hitting the base of the dashmount speaker. I did a little grinding on the arm, and found a less deep speaker, and got the clearance I needed. Newer RainGears have fixed that issue, as I understand it. That was the only issue I ran into.

Th only issue I had, if you can call it an issue was having to find a new place to mount the fuse box on my 55.
