Why The 605 gearbox works fine for me and I like the bigger wheels. Everybody has different tastes. You can buy it and put 15 inch wheels on it if you’d like.

I know the 605's get a bad rap. My 56 had one installed when I got it. It looked like it was rebuilt. I kept it, it works fine, it doesn't leak, and I've put 28,000 miles on my car since I got it on the road.
