    1955 chevy Radio Antenna template

    I need to add a Radio Antenna to my 55 chevy fender but it has no antenna hole for one does anyone have a template so I can drill a hole for my antenna. Thanks for any help. Lewis

    The antenna hole has to line up with a hole below it in the cowl. I don't know if it would help or not but I have the factory hole in my fender that I could measure. It's a 56 but I think it's the same since the cowl and doors are the same.

    looks like 5-1/2" from point to center of hole,, then 1-1/8" from top of fender to top of hole,, then the hole is 1" total . Sound about right.. Thanks for the help

    Looks to me more like 5 1/4" square with the fender edge and 1 1/16" up (in the pic) from the inboard edge of the fender to the edge of the hole. That would put it at 1 9/16" to the center of the hole. I should have put the tape through the hole instead of so far down at the fender edge. I can take another pic if you want me to.
