    Hello from a new member

Hi all. New to this forum. Looking for advice and guidance on buying my first 57 Chevy. Looking for one to restore and have some valuable time with my son. I live in Ohio. It’s a pleasure to meet you all.

Welcome to the site - great that you have joined us! Ideas on what you are looking for in a 57 (coupe, sedan, wagon, truck)? Looking to restore, or restomod, or?
    Thanks, Doug

Looking for a 2 door coup or sedan. Drivable or not can be manual or automatic. Son has never seen a three on the tree so that would be something special but not necessary. Bel air preferably looking to re create a car my father had and give it to my mom for a memory for her since his passing. Thank you

I recommend checking on Facebook. There's a lot of tri5 cars and parts for sale there and a lot of tri5 and 57 Chevy groups.

I've a friend in the Bloomington, IN area who did have a '55 HT in storage (needing a restoration or rejuvenation for sure). That's not very far from Troy, OH.. so if you are interested in talking to him, let me know and I'll put you in touch with him...

That would be great. Thank you. I did find a 57 that is fully sandblasted and rust repaired it needs out back together they have all the parts to do it they want $18,000 for it. Not sure 🤔 f that is a good buy or not. Basically frame off and needs put back together.
