Local car show this weekend...with some cool people

Going to do the local Red Deer Alberta car show this weekend with my 55. Looks like I'll be parked next to Cory Kincaids 55 Chevy Blown Alcohol Nostalgia Funny Car. Might even see legendary Top Fuel Drag Racer Gordie Bonin there as he and Cory are old friends and Gordie may be at the show. Gordie is better known as 240 Gordie for being one of the first to crack the 240mph barrier in his funny car back in the 70's, and beat Don the Snake Prudhomme at the world finals back in 1977. If I see him there, we're gonna have to go for a rip in the Double Nickel.

Wow what a great event to go to , I remember 240 Gordie he was one fast dude back in the 70's . I aways loved watching him at Portland internatioal Raceway when they had 32 funny car events , Make sure you get some pictures and you should let Gordie drive your monster so you can video him in the seat !!!!that would be cool !!!!!
